As Christrians we are called on to be "In the world but not of the world.". The world's culture is not our culture but we are called to exist in and interact with that culture. This poses a challenge for us. How do we live and minister in a culture that is counter to ours?
Answering the question is made all the more difficult by the tendency to the larger culture of the Church to be adulterated by the human beings who participate in it. The sad fact is that sometimes the most hostile culture to the Gospel is the very church that is supposed to be sharing it.
This section contains a series of Essays on the topic of Christian Faith and Secular Culture.
